Omar L. Douglass is a writer, copywriter, poet, and advocate for humanity from the land now known as St. Simons Island, Georgia, United States of America. Based in the land now known as Savannah, Georgia, USA, he works with the land and the people to bridge divides and create common spaces for healing throughout the Gullah Geechee Coast. He received a B.A. from the College of The Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he studied Philosophy and Africana Studies.
